Frequently Asked Questions

  • There isn’t a “should”. It’s all personal choice! Here’s some reasons my client choose waxing: the smooth results last longer than shaving, it’s faster than shaving, effortless (on your part), reduces the likelihood of ingrown hairs, causes the hair that grows back to be thinner, it FEELS AMAZING to be care/hair free, easier hygiene, prep for a surgery or baby delivery, easier maintenece for those with mobility issues, and finally, to just feel sexy. For yourself or someone else, whether it’s your eyebrows or booty, being care-free/hair-free give off sexy vibes.

  • It’s a unique sensation that everyone experiences differently, as it’s highly depended on the sensitivity of your nerve endings. Some say it’s painless while others drop an F bomb. One thing is certain — it always gets easier. Your skin adapts and you’ll know what to expect. All first-time waxing clients are welcome here. I will explain each step and talk you through the process. Yes, there’s a level of discomfort, but you’ll beam with happiness after your see and touch the results.

  • Anywhere there’s hair! And don’t be self-conscious about it. If you don’t see it listed on my services, just ask. I legit look at hairy humans for a living and I chose this career.

  • DO NOT SHAVE. If you just shaved, you should wait about 2-3 weeks or until you have at least a 1/4 inch of hair growth, 1/2 inch for course hair. Exfoliating with a loofah or exfoliating gloves the day before waxing can help reduce discomfort at the appointment. If you’ll be coming in after a long day of work and you’re getting a brazilian or bikini wax, you might pack some booty wipes for a quick wipe of confidence.

  • Regular appointments are essential. Most people see their best results and thinnest grow-back when they stay consistent, with an appointment every 4-6 weeks. The skin will be less sensitive and the hair becomes finer if waxing is done every four weeks.

  • Keep the waxed area protected from direct sunlight for at least 12 hours, no hot baths, hot tubs, or community pools for 24 hours. Do not shave in between appointments. And finally, enjoy it!

  • If you have a medical concern, let’s talk! Waxing may not be for you in select areas if you have diabetes, varicose veins or poor circulation, are taking Accutane, or use Retin A, Renova, Differin or other types of skin thinning acne medications.

Please tell me if you are allergic to to any foods, scents, or essential oils (like almonds/ almond oil or peppermint).

  • A brief wax? Of course! Let’s make those undies center stage. It’s all about your needs. You tell me what makes you feel like picking up the tempo in your runway walk and we will do it.
